The Searchers is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as such donations to the Searchers are considered charitable donations which normally qualify as a charitable tax deduction.
The Searchers can always use quality rough, slabs, cut stones and lapidary equipment. Some of the material donated to the Searchers is used in the lapidary shop, some is used in the Silent Auction which is part of the annual show, and some is given to the VA lapidary program.

For years the Searchers has supported the Long Beach VA VRT Lapidary program by supplying them with slabs for the veterans to work with. The Searchers also help finance equipment repair at the VA shop when it is needed.
