We will start to have more Silent Auctions at the meetings once again.
Here are some programs from some of our 2008 General Meetings.

January - The Oceanview Mine - a fee digging site in Pala, CA
February - Jimmy Petersen's Trip Across America in 2007
March - All About Opals by David Kramer
April - California Gold Video on the 16 to 1 Gold Mine in Alleghany, CA
May - Silver Linings - A Video on the Silver Belt of the USA in north Idaho
June - A Slideshow on a San Carlos, Mexico Agate Field Trip 2007 by Bob Burson
July - The First Searchers Rockswap - bring good trading rocks, minerals, gemstones, books, etc related to the hobby and some good collecting stories too. Also a Silent Auction hosted by The Gem and Mineral Exploration Company with all proceeds donated to the Searchers. The silent auction was cancelled due to a scheduling problem.
August - Cutting Fire Agates by National Lapidary Hall of Famer - Larry Richey
September - Photos from My August 2008 Collecting Trip by Walter Mroch. Silent Auction hosted by The Gem and Mineral Exploration Company with all proceeds donated to the Searchers.
October - An Account of Rockhounding by Herb Beckman
November - Third Rockswap and General Elections
December - Installation of New Officers and Holiday Season Gathering at Marie Callenders in the Garden Room 540 N Euclid Avenue, Anaheim on December 6th from 6PM to 9PM.
